Marvin Sitler passed away Saturday night October 25, 2008. Marv was a cousin to most of us, and a good friend to all of us. A lot of Marv’s work went into the race cars over the years. If a part needed to be built he was the first one everyone thought of. The familiar S&S Machine Shop Logo was seen on race cars throughout Eastern Pennsylvania for more then 3 decades. Marv will be missed by everyone at Sitler Kline Racing. Our thoughts and prays go out to his family.
figured I’d update everyone on what has been going on over at the garage. We have been taking the car apart slowly, trying to get everything cleaned and checked over real good as we go. The motor came out Saturday and now plans are to push the car out and give it a good cleaning with the pressure washer before taking it down to the frame. The racing swap meets are coming up and the crew plans on hitting a few of these to see if there is anything out there that we might need for next year. It is too early to announce any plans for next year; however I don’t foresee any big changes from last year at this time. On a side note I have merged My Two Cents and Garage Talk as you can see.
